Are you interested in learning the basic techniques of excavation and finds-handling on an archaeological site? If so, you can join an Archaeology Experience Weekend in July at Copped Hall, near Epping. Designed for absolute beginners, people of all ages (8 years and above) and backgrounds are welcome. Our aim is to involve students as fully as possible in further excavating, examining, recording, surveying and interpreting the remains of the brick-built mansion and the associated features and structures which are being revealed on the site.
