The lead organisation for archaeology in Chester District. Services include advice to the Planning Authority, interpreting the Sites and Monuments Record, fieldwork, research, publication and finds analysis. We run an active programme of talks, open days and educational activities. Volunteers and work-experience students are welcome, mostly for finds processing, but the numbers we can accept are small.
