Curator for County Durham and the Borough of Darlington. Maintains the Sites and Monuments Record (now searchable on-line at our website), provides development control advice and research facilities for general public and students etc. Also currently curates County Archaeology collections and manages Binchester Roman Fort visitor centre. Accepts volunteers for museum work and SMR enhancement and runs occasional community excavation projects.
